Stokes Family Photos

I am really behind in my blogging of last year’s photo sessions.  This winter has flown by and I will make a better effort to get caught up before this year’s sessions start up in full force.

Last fall I went out to Vale, Oregon to photograph the Stokes family.  It was a beautiful fall day with a little bit of cloud cover which made for beautiful light in the desert.  It was great fun to photograph them as they are fun to work with plus I got to meet some of their pigs and goats.

They are one of the families behind Malheur River Meats.  I have been buying their beef, pork, goat and chicken from the Saturday market for the past few years and I can say that they have the best meat plus they are the nicest people.  Stop by their booth at the Boise or Nampa markets this spring or find their products at Boise Coop, Natural Grocers and Whole Foods.
