Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions that I have compiled. If you have any questions that you don’t see answered here please feel free to give me a call or send an email.
When will I receive my order?
Generally it takes betweeen 2-4 weeks depending on my schedule and what was ordered. Prints generally take 2 weeks and books can take up to 8 weeks depending on the design and printing schedule.
What is the best time of the day to schedule a session?
Since I work with natural light the best times to schedule are the first 3-4 hours in the morning and the last 2-3 hours before sunset. Session times are limited so schedule yours today!
How will I view and order prints?
Typically within 1-2 weeks after your sessions your images will be ready to be viewed. At this time I will post your images to an online password protected gallery for 7 days to view and place your order. An option is to set up a meeting at your home to go over your selection of images and I can show you examples of print options, canvases, books, etc. After 7 days your gallery will be deleted and a $50 fee will be charged to reload your gallery.
Do you have custom print sizes?
You bet I do! I only list a small amount of offerings.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I take cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Can I do anything I want with my photo - scan and copy the prints? I bought it so that means I own the rights?
When you purchase a print I am selling you the rights to use that print for personal pleasure – scanning or copying that image degrades the quality of my work and is not allowed. When you purchase a digital image you can make prints and post on the web – I will give recommendations for places to get quality prints. If you are using the image to promote your business or animal you will need to purchase a usage license. If you want to use your image in a commercial project please contact me for a quote.
When you purchased your print or digital image, you purchased limited personal use (unless you purchased a usage license). I retain the copyright and rights to the image. Under US Copyright Law, it is illegal to reproduce a print or digital file unless authorized by the photographer, so please make sure you ask the photographer before you place your image online, in a publication, or make copies.
