My name is Tracey and I am a natural light photographer who specializes in equine photography. My passion is horses and I hope you can see it in my work. I love to capture the relationships between people & their horses and of course the horses just "being horses". I am an avid horsewoman and have a lovely thoroughbred named Denali. He "found me" when I wasn't looking for a horse but here I am three & a half years later with a great friend. He is a camera ham, lighting up in front of the camera every time it comes out. Look for lots of pictures of him throughout the years.
I just don't focus on horses - I also photograph pets, families, seniors, children, events and the occasional wedding. My style is more lifestyle & casual as I don't generally like to pose heavily. I like to keep it fun for everyone involved. I primarily shoot portraits on-location at your farm, your home, a local park or at a scenic outdoor setting using natural light.
As for the rest of the my family I have a wonderful husband - Ben who assists me when needed on photo shoots. We also have 2 cats - Elvis & Chloe and a dog - Marcie. Look for more pictures of everyone this year in our adventures!
I have been getting some inquires lately about what type of equipment I use.
What is in my bag?
Nikon D700
Nikon D200 (backup body)
Nikon 70-200mm f2.8VR lens
Nikon 50mm f1.4 lens
SB800 Flash
Lots of memory cards ranging from 2-8 GB
4 batteries
My camera manual - you never know when you are going to need it.
That's it!
