Halliday Family

Last month I went to the Santa Cruz, CA area to visit my friend Lori and her family.  I normally go on a girls trip somewhere in the winter/spring and I chose to visit my friend who I haven’t see in years.  We had a great time visiting and relaxing along with fabulous weather!   While there I photographed her family, I think they one of the most photogenic families I know.

Lori runs a non-profit called  Equus Anam Cara and Horse and Heart summer camps.  Her non-profit addresses the critical need for effective intervention and alternative therapies for youth in transition.  It  increases emotional wellness and teaches practical life and social skills through an active outdoor experience that is more interactive and compelling to youth, and therefore more effective than traditional talk therapy.  Check out her website : horseandheart.org I know I wish I could have gone to one of her camps when I was a kid – natural horsemanship, aerial ropes, acrobatics, dance, art, theatre and the beach – sounds pretty fun to me!!

Here are some of my favorites from their session – Enjoy!!
