Leslie Gulch

Sometimes a girl just needs a little peace and quiet and what better place to go than the desert ~ especially when the overnight temps in the mountains are pretty cold.  Last weekend my husband and I went for a overnight camping trip to Leslie Gulch, Oregon.  It was my first time there and I was not disappointed by the beauty of this section of desert.  I highly recommend going if you haven’t been there.  The book ‘ The Hiker’s Guide to Greater Boise’ by Scott Marchant has information on the 3 hikes and on the area.  Next time we head to the desert, this year or next we plan on checking out Succor Creek.
