Oldenburg Inspection

This morning I went to the Oldenburg Inspection at Willowgate Farms in Meridian.  This was a small inspection but the quality of the horses was superb!  For those of you that don’t know what goes on at an inspection, each horse is judged on its conformation, suitability to sport and movement.  At the end a champion and reserve champion premium filly/colt are awarded.  In accordance with the rules the horses that are eligible are branded and added to the registry.

Here are a few pictures of the inspection.  The last 3 are of boarders I photographed after the inspection was complete.  Enjoy!

    Hi Tracey,
I can see you have been busy! Did you happen to get any other photos of Ta-Tu. I loved your pictures of Romania, everything is so unique, that woven fence was awesome.

    Hi Lisa,
Those are the only pics I got of Ta-Tu. They ran thru her inspection really fast – wish they would have trotted her around one more time.
    Thanks, Tracey

Tracey these photos get posted for the owners on a national website. The way you’re taking the photos makes for great portraits, but it makes Oldenburg folks near this inspection site look unremarkable. It’s a onetime opportunity for the owners. See ISR Oldenburg Awards Photos.

Hi Annie, The portrait pictures are actually of boarders at the facility and are not associated with the inspection. I guess I sure clarity that in the post. The first 6 are from the inspection. Tracey
